Is that a Nikon AF-S 70-200 f/2.8 VR in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

My first visit to the 'brox as a guest Photographer since last season and what an afternoon it was.

Nevermind managing to get decent photographs from the lovely overcast lighting (a photographers best friend), I met, and photographed all the Mc's of the Rangers team McCoist, McGregor, McDowell, and McCulloch. Kirk O'Rouke also kindly let me sit in on the managers interviews, which was an experience in itself. Walter Smith, what more can one say? A man with pure class, respect and dignity, an Ibrox legend if there ever was one.

After viewing some of Kirk's shots from the match, I came to realise that whilst my Nikon D200 with 180mm f2.8 lens is fantastic for now, I really do need to, in the next few years, get myself some new lenses. A Nikon 400mm f2.8 would be fantastic, but first and foremost the Nikon Af-S 70-200/2.8 VR (beautiful lens) really would do me for almost all the shots in a sports match, bar anything far away (past the halfway line).

If I could someday get images like the Bob Martins, I'd be happy;
